Help-Payton has been so sick this week-his temp has been around 103 and has had a really bad cough. Today they finally diagnosed him with Pneumonia-I have to watch him really close the next couple of days to make sure they don't have to hospitalize him. Has anyone gone through this with their kids? I need some help-advice? The poor guy-hopefully his antiboticis will start working quick and I can keep him home. I would have never made it through this without my parents! The worst part is that Jackson is so far away-(I think that makes everything worse)

I'm so sorry! I'll take Croup over Pneumonia any day. When I read your title my first thought was 'wait, how long has it been? Is Jax back yet?' That makes me doubly sorry. I wish I had some advice. Oh, has he gotten a blessing yet? When does Jackson come back? Good luck!
I don't have any personal experience with this, but I will be thinking of you and hoping Payton recovers quickly.
One thing I recommend when he is finished with the antibiotics is to give him some probiotics to help him get his healthy "bugs" back. You can buy a powdered, refrigerated bottle and add a tsp. or so to his yogurt. It's tasteless and I swear by it. If you have any questions, email me (found on my profile link). Good luck!
oh, I'm so sorry! It's no fun when your kids get so sick. My kids have gotten croup and bronchitis quite often and when they get sick with a fever it's high...103/104/105. But, Never Pneumonia. I'm sorry! Hopefully those antibiotics get working and Jackson get's back soon!! Good Luck!
Oh No! Not so fun! Sick kids is the worst and having Jackson gone is worse. Hope everyone gets better and Jackson makes it home soon.
oh valerie i am so sorry. I know how bad it sucks to have a husband away when a kid is sick. I think its about the worst thing. NO sleep always worrying and getting overwelmed. I hope Payton gets over it fast and that Jackson gets home soon. Your in my thoughts.
Oh I'm so sorry to hear that! Sorry to hear daddy isn't there to help either. We haven't had that one yet so if you come up with any good advice, feel free to post it in case it comes our way this season!
How is Peyton doing now? I hope you are doing okay. It sucks when kids are sick, it always breaks my heart for them
